Caroline Cheong

Executive Director & Chief Operating Officer

Caroline is currently the Executive Director, Research & Programs as well as the Chief Operating Officer of the Kingsley Strategic Institute (KSI).

An innovative professional with more than 30 years of progressive experience in diverse business environments. Extensive work in Administration, Communications, Events & Projects Management and Information Technology. She has garnered varied experience in new business programmes and execution, cost containment, budgeting/finance, customer service, corporate communications/media relations and staff training, supervision and mentoring.

She joined the newly established Kingsley Strategic Institute as one of the pioneer staff in August 2018 after she left ASLI. She has considerable experience in strategic events having been the project director for several major international events held locally and overseas.

She has also served as Research Analyst in the Institute of Strategic Analysis and Policy Research (INSAP); General Manager of Asia Business Forum Sdn Bhd; Senior Manager, Special Projects & Team Leader/Project Coordinator for the 3rd Global Knowledge Conference 2007 in the Global Knowledge Partners (GKP) Secretariat. She has also spent more than 6 years in UM Holdings Sdn Bhd, the wholly-owned commercial and investment arm of the University of Malaya; where she coordinated and provided oversight for several development projects on behalf of the university.

Her interest in healthcare issues arose when she was the Chief of Staff to the former Minister of Health Malaysia. She also had considerable experience dealing with SMEs when she was assisting the Chairman of the MCA SME council and also IT industry experience when she was with the Global Knowledge Partnership.

Caroline holds a Masters’ degree in Economics from the University of Malaya.
