Nadya Liew

Professional Fellow

Nadya Liew is an educator and researcher with a strong interest in education policy, language development, and how language affects social equity. She holds an MPhil in Applied Linguistics from Trinity College Dublin, where her research explored language acquisition and curriculum
design.

Her work spans early childhood education, policy research, and communications. As Policy Research Youth Lead at the Kingsley Strategic Institute (KSI), Nadya contributed to policy discussions on youth empowerment and education reform, conducting research and supporting stakeholder engagement. Her background as an educator, including her role at Julia Gabriel Preschool, has provided her with first-hand insight into how policy decisions translate into classroom realities.

Beyond education, Nadya’s experience as a translator and project manager with Bayi LLC and Bilibili Comics strengthened her analytical, organisational, and cross-cultural communication Skills. Nadya is passionate about advancing inclusive and evidence-based education policies across Southeast Asia. She hopes to contribute to policies that promote access, equity, and innovation in learning systems, bridging research, practice, and policymaking
