Vikneswaran (Vicky) has 13 years of experience in the Malaysian cybersecurity industry. He is currently serving as Sr. Vice President at FIRMUS where he leads a team of consultants delivering security assessment services across Malaysia and the broader Southeast Asian region. Vicky's role is to assist organizations protecting their digital assets and providing support during cyberattacks.

The motto "Serve to Lead" from Royal Military College (RMC) carved his interest in leadership. Serving 4 years at RMC as a "Budak Boy", instilled a resilient mindset, and a different approach to handling challenges. His passion for leadership has driven him to learn more about it and implement it in his current work with his team.

Vicky is also serving as a CREST Asia Council member. CREST is a global cybersecurity organisation committed to Asia, enhancing regional capability and market access via its Asia Council. Other than organizations, Vicky also approaches universities offering cybersecurity courses to raise awareness among the students and make them more industry-ready after graduation.

Vicky frequently gives talks on cybersecurity awareness, career development, and industry specific cybersecurity issues across multiple sectors. He is also actively involved in numerous cybersecurity conference panel discussions both as panelist and moderator.
