ASEAN SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE & FOOD SECURITY FORUM 2024

The forum, titled “ASEAN Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security (ASAFS)”, aims to promote sustainable agriculture and food security in the ASEAN region. The forum will provide a platform for stakeholders, including governmental bodies, private industry, higher education institutions, and farming communities, to discuss and showcase sustainable systems, technologies, and methods in agriculture, aquaculture, animal husbandry, and related industries emphasizing the practicality and cost effectiveness of the sustainable practices put forward in the ASEAN Sustainable Agriculture Guidelines endorsed by the ASEAN Member States. The goal is to transition from theoretical discussions to practical implementation, fostering a sustainable future for the ASEAN region.

Forum Objectives:
1. Disseminate knowledge and information regarding the ASEAN sustainable agriculture guidelines.
2. Attract private companies engaged in developing and marketing sustainable systems and technologies.
3. Increase the adoption of modern sustainable technologies.
4. Encourage collaboration between private industry, governmental bodies, higher education institutions, and farming communities.
5. Facilitate the development of sustainable food security in the ASEAN region.
