Professionally, He is currently serving as the Medical Director of Osel Group of Clinics, Chief Clinical and Innovative Scientist of Osel Diagnostics Sdn Bhd. In 2015, Dr. Kris was appointed a faculty member of The Frontier Medicine Institute – advocating healthcare innovations and building bridges between education and healthcare, brought about by the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and moving into The Fifth Industrial Revolution and beyond. Dr. Kris is also the editor-inchief for The Frontier Medical Journal, an open access peer reviewed journal. Till date, Dr Kris has published extensively both domestically and internationally.

In 2011, he won the “People’s Choice Award” in neurosurgery conferred by Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah, Kedah, Malaysia. In 2016, he was awarded “Most Impactful Entrepreneur Award”. In 2017, he was awarded KWYP “Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Best Enterprise Award”, Malaysia “Top 100 Most Influential Young Entrepreneur” award and during an international symposium organised by Korean College of Radiology, he was awarded the Grand Prix award for Best Photo in people category. In 2017, as Chief Clinical Scientist of Osel Diagnostics Sdn Bhd, they were awarded “Best Innovative Screening – Blood Based Approach” for innovative genetic screening by Asian Halal Brands Awards making it the first lab in Asean to be conferred the prestigious award. In 2018, he was awarded The Excellence Achievement Entrepreneurs Award – International Entrepreneurs Business Conference 2018. He was nominated as Malaysia Top 100 Most Influential Sustainable Entrepreneur by United Nations Global Impact, a subsidiary of United Nations Organization. Further he was awarded JCI Peace Angel Award 2018 for his role and innovative work during the Nepal Earthquake Relief Program. In 2019, Dr. Kris was invited and inducted into the 2nd ASEAN Fellowship programme, powered by the Singapore-ASEAN Youth Fund (SAYF), the inaugural run of the programme was built on the values of Resilience, Leadership and Cohesion.

In 2020, Dr. Kris was nominated and inducted into the inaugural fellowship as one of the 25 Leading Lights of Southeast Asia by Financial Times, Said Business School, Oxford University and Women of the Future organisation, United Kingdom. Dr. Kris completed his International Executive MBA programme, UK, by graduating top of his cohort with a CGPA 4.0 and was nominated as the valedictorian.

Dr. Kris is passionate about serving his community. He is the founding member and advisor for Wings of Love – a community based not-for-profit mobile clinic, Penang, the medical adviser for Serdang Badminton Club and Penang Badminton Club. He is serving as medical advisor for Kopan Free Clinic in Kathmandu, Nepal. Previously, He was serving as the Medical Adviser for Yayasan Medical Foundation. Dr. Kris is also an advocator for social enterprises where he is instrumental in the setting up of Ramro Cha initiative, a coffee project to provide for Health and Education initiatives for post-earthquake victims in Nepal. Besides this, he regularly leads disaster relief missions to areas of needs in Nepal, Myanmar, Penang, Johore Bahru etc.

In the area of Education, since 2019, he was appointed as the honorary adviser for The One Academy
Penang, rated the World’s Top 25 Creative Arts. Dr. Kris is instrumental in advocating and setting up “The Madam Tan Hong Mui Scholarship”, where he is appointed as the executor and one of panel of judges for selecting deserving students to pursue creative arts and related industries. He often quotes – “Creative Arts is the MBA of the New World.” To demonstrate his wide perspectives to alleviate issues surrounding his community, Dr. Kris believes that one of the greatest obstacles to achieve progression of the society is Poverty. To this, he regularly advocates and supports financial literacy amongst youths in the society. For his efforts, he was nominated to Vice Chairman Post of myLife in 2019 – an NGO which advocates financial education and literacy and aims to eradicate poverty amongst the lower income group and youths in Malaysia Nation. In 2020, Dr. Kris was re-elected un-opposed for the same position.

Dr Kris is an adjunct fellow with AIMSMET, Asia Metropolitan University and sits on board of Industry Advisory Council with the University. He is also an Industry Advisory Board Member with Monash University Malaysia. He is also appointed the Adjunct Professor under the faculty of health sciences, Asia Metropolitan University.

Dr. Kris is a visiting lecturer and lectures in the International Executive MBA programme, Asia Metropolitan University. Dr. Kris is also a visiting lecturer with Europe-based International Society of Applied Preventive Medicine, I-GAP (https://www.i-gap.org/) training medical personnel and future leaders in emerging medical sciences.

Dr. Kris See is immensely passionate about empowering the youth in education and healthcare, as he firmly believed youths of a nation are leaders of tomorrow. He is frequently invited to give keynote speeches both domestically and internationally. In his free time, he contributes to various charitable organizations both within Malaysia and abroad.
