Assoc. Prof. Dr Muhamad Saiful Bahri Yusoff

SSOCIATE PROFESSOR DR. MUHAMAD SAIFUL BAHRI YUSOFF is the Director of the Center for the Development of Academic Excellence (CDAE) and an Associate Professor at Universiti Sains Malaysia with an M.D.,

MSc, and PhD in Medical Education.

He is the Technical Expert in Qualifications, Frameworks, Systems, and Management to the ASEAN Universiti Network (AUN) Executive Director and the Core Member of AUN-QEx initiative. He serves as an assessor for AUN- QA and Malaysian Qualifications Agency. He was the coordinator of medicine group in the CALOHEA and TASE projects funded by the ERASMUS capacity building funding to promote comparable learning outcome attainment, international recognition of degree programs and qualifications excellence

in ASEAN. Nationally, he served as the principle investigator producing the report on the relevancy of academic programs based on the country’s employment needs for Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia.

Additionally, he is the Editor in Chief of the Education in Medicine Journal, President of the Malaysian Association of Education in Medicine & Health Sciences, and Regional Director of East Asia for the International Society for Emotional Intelligence. He is recognized by Stanford University among the Top 2% Researchers since 2022 until present and has received numerous prestigious awards for his contributions to medical education development, research and innovation.
