Dr. Chin Chee Seong

Dr. Chin Chee Seong, a distinguished professional with over 38 years of experience, has established himself as a leading figure in the fields of Information Technology, Telecommunications, and Venture Investment. His extensive career spans across Malaysia, China, Japan, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia, encompassing both corporate leadership and entrepreneurial innovation.

Throughout his professional journey, Dr. Chin has collaborated with prominent local enterprises and international corporations such as IBM, Telekom Malaysia, and Gozzo Rosso Japan. He has held several notable lddeadership positions, including Independent Director of M-Mode Berhad, a company listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange, and Non-Executive Director of Galasys PLC, a company listed on the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange. He presently serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Seatech Ventures Corp, a company listed on the US-OTC Market (OTC: SEAV).

Beyond his corporate endeavors, Dr. Chin plays a prominent role in various business and trade organizations. He currently serves as the National President of the SME Association of Malaysia and is the President Emeritus of the Malaysia Cross Border E-Commerce Association. He is also the Deputy President of the Malaysia Independent Non-Executive Director Association and has previously served as a Council Member of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor (KLSCCCI).

A strong advocate for technological advancement, Dr. Chin is a former Chairman and Advisor of the National Tech Association of Malaysia (PIKOM) and has represented Malaysia in international organizations such as the Asian-Oceanian Computing Industry Organization (ASOCIO) and the World Innovation, Technology and Services Alliance (WITSA). His leadership in these capacities has contributed significantly to promoting Malaysia’s digital economy on the global stage.

In recognition of his steadfast commitment to sustainable development and responsible business practices, Dr. Chin is the Founding Advisor of the ESG Association of Malaysia, championing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles within the Malaysian business community.

Dr. Chin also serves as the Deputy Chairman of the IR4.0 and Technology Committee of the Malaysia-China Business Council (MCBC), the Board member of GITC (Government-Industry TVET Coordination Body) and sits on various committees within government ministries and agencies, where he provides strategic insights on digital transformation, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

Currently, Dr. Chin is actively engaged in corporate venture advisory services, offering strategic counsel to technology-related startups and scale-ups pursuing public listings on the US-OTC and NASDAQ markets. His expertise encompasses strategic planning, capital market readiness, and business expansion, leveraging his extensive regional network to support companies in achieving successful market entries.
