Dato’ Sri Jess Ling, JS is the founder and Managing Partner at Messrs. JS Ling, Diyana & Singh (JLDS) graduated with an Honors Degree from Nottingham Law School in England and was admitted to the Malaysian Bar on 12 March 1999. Dato’ Sri Jess holds dual admission to both West and East Malaysian Bar which enables her to represent clients in the courts of Sabah & Sarawak. Dato’ Sri Jess leads an active litigation practice as well as in corporate and conveyancing. Dato’ Sri Jess oversees all aspects of the firm’s management, growth, and strategic planning. Dato’ Sri Jess has been recognized for her sizable contributions to the firm’s practice with a commitment to providing value-added services in a professional trustworthy manner with her extensive knowledge and experience.
Dato’ Sri Jess as the founding and managing Partner has established and expended the conveyancing department especially in Oversea Mortgage Loan (OML) whereby through her expertise, JLDS is specialize in dealing with overseas loan portfolios for Malayan Banking Berhad and CIMB Bank Berhad in respect of their overseas mortgage schemes to finance property purchases in Australia, the United Kingdom and Singapore. The time difference has never hampered the ability of the firm to ensure that the client’s borrowers received the best advice and highest level of commitment. This entrusted task enabled the firm to have international affiliation with legal worldwide such as Lincolns Lawyers, Melbourne and Healys LLP, London UK to handle the Overseas Mortgage Facility in the respective countries.

Dato’ Sri Jess maintains an active involvement as a panelist in talks & seminars, often at the forefront of social justice issues. Being a co-founder and OC of the ASEAN Chinese Book of Records and Award 2021-2022, Dato’ Sri Jess is a frequent speaker in multiple Webinars, especially those hosted during the pandemic.
Dato’ Sri Jess also active in charity and social organizations and is an honorary advisor to the Malaysia Independent Living Association for Disabled (MILAD), Intellectual Disabled Association Malaysia (IDA) and Pertubuhan Kebajikan Wanita dan Keluarga Abundant ARK Selangor.
