DATUK DR. MARK ESHVAREN (Yogeswaran) is a distinguished Malaysian entrepreneur, visionary leader, and expert in private equity, blockchain, quantum computing and AI technologies, with a career spanning over three decades. He is currently the Executive Chairman of Space Capital Berhad, a private equity fund based in Kuala Lumpur, a position he has held since July 2020. He is also the Founder and Chairman of Swordfish Solutions Sdn Bhd, a strategic business group with a membership exceeding 50,000 across Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, the USA, UAE, and Brunei, which he established in 2011.
Dr. Mark’s professional journey began in engineering and telecommunications, where he worked as a fiber optic system design engineer at Fujitsu Telecommunications Asia from 1997 to 1999, contributing to major fiber optic and digital network projects in Malaysia. He then transitioned into business development and leadership roles in the oil and gas sector with UB Energy & Resources Sdn Bhd and other firms, gaining extensive experience in market development and subsea installation technologies.
In 2009, he became CEO of Marc iSolutions, specializing in insurance solutions for oil, gas, maritime, and aerospace industries, where he led the company to win national corporate business awards. His expertise in integrating technology with business strategy has been a hallmark of his leadership.
In October 2024, Datuk Dr. Mark was appointed Chief Operating Officer a global innovator company in blockchain technology and cryptocurrency mining solutions. In this role, he oversees global operations and spearheads strategic initiatives to integrate AI and blockchain innovations, such as AI-integrated wallets and social platforms, enhancing user engagement and expanding international footprint. His vision aligns with the said company’s mission to revolutionize the cryptocurrency industry through sustainable and cutting-edge technologies.
