DEBORAH BIBER is an expert marketeer, coach, mentor and business growth specialist. Having worked with some of the world’s leading companies; and with over thirty years’ experience in Asia and the Pacific, Deborah is also a Certified Chair™ for Advisory Boards.

Deborah is a leader in the field of association management. Roles have included being a Board Director of the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and Macau (AustCham) segueing into her role as its Chief Executive, with her tenure booked-marked by our first pandemic (SARS) and the GFC.

Following this she was the Country Manager Hong Kong for Australia’s leading MBA Program – the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM), part of the University of NSW.

Deborah was most recently Chief Executive of the Pacific Basin Economic Council) (PBEC). Responsible for PBEC’ activities and growth across its 21-county footprint in Asia and the Pacific. The organisation, headquartered in HK, has hubs in Bangkok, Bogota, Mexico City, Los Angeles and San Francisco, Shanghai, Singapore, Tokyo and Kyoto and Vietnam. She joined the Board of Directors on her departure as CEO..

Deborah is the Chair of the UN ESCAP Sustainable Business Network’s Digital Economy Task Force (ESBN DETF) and sits on the ESBN Executive Council.

She is also the Chair, Australia of the International Intellectual Property Commercialisation Council (IIPCC), a global, apolitical, non-partisan, non-profit, non-government organisation (NGO) providing a platform for innovators, entrepreneurs, enterprises and intellectual property (IP) communities to increase their understanding of IP; its value and commercialisation potential to benefit societies worldwide. IIPCC calls this IP- Innopreneurship™.This is particularly relevant in today’s digital world.

Among her other activities Deborah is Chairman of The Entrepreneurs Club of Hong Kong; is Co-Chair of the Advisory Board Centre’s Hong Kong Community and is a Founder Member of the Advisory Board Centre.
