Dr. Dino Patti Djalal

Dr. Dino Patti Djalal is a prominent Indonesian diplomat, scholar, and public intellectual with an extensive career in foreign policy, international relations, and public service. He currently serves as the Founder and Chairman of the Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia and holds influential positions such as Vice President of the Paris Peace Forum and Chairman of various national and international organizations, including the World Resources Institute Indonesia and the Indonesian Diaspora Network. He previously served as Indonesia’s Ambassador to the United States (2010–2013), Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs (2014), and Presidential Spokesperson under President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (2004–2010).

Educated in Canada and the UK, Dr. Djalal holds a doctorate from the London School of Economics. His work has earned him numerous accolades, including the prestigious Bintang Mahaputra and Bintang Jasa Utama medals from the Indonesian government. In addition to his diplomatic and leadership roles, he is a bestselling author and a talk show host, contributing significantly to public discourse on nationalism, leadership, and the Indonesian diaspora.
