DR. HANIZA YON

DR. HANIZA YON is the Founding President of the Malaysian Psychometrics Association and Chief Executive Officer of Global Psytech Sdn. Bhd. With over 25 years of international experience in psychometrics, behavioural science, and data science, she previously worked in the United States for 16 years before returning to Malaysia to serve at MIMOS Berhad. She has led the development of AI-driven risk assessment systems, including an integrity assessment platform
and a psychometric credit scoring platform, that are widely adopted across government and industry. Her innovations are currently in use in eight countries, advancing evidence-based decision-making globally. Dr. Haniza earned her PhD in Measurement and Quantitative Methods from Michigan State University. She has held academic appointments at the University of Cambridge, ISLA Portugal, and Universiti Utara Malaysia, and serves on the Board of the International Association of Computerised Adaptive Testing (IACAT), USA. Her leadership and impact have been recognised with prestigious awards, including the Women-in-Tech Asia Pacific Lifetime Achievement Award (2021) and the Women Digital Entrepreneur Award 2022 (Islamic Digital Economy category) by the Malaysian Development Corporation (MDEC).
