Dr Janethy Balakrishnan

DR. JANETHY BALAKRISHNAN is known for her foresight into the Integrative Medicine space, stemming from her 33 over years of evolving clinical practice. This is within the mainstream modern medicine medical disciplines as well as being an educator in the advanced preventative, regenerative, aesthetic, nutritional, medicinal herbs modalities.

She completed her first post graduate Masters in Healthcare Management. (Swansea, Wales) in 2000.

In 2005, Dr. Janethy was one of the pioneers to be Board certified in Anti-Aging Medicine (USA) in Asia. Shortly, she obtained a Fellowship in Aesthetic Medicine (USA) and as well as being a Master Trainer, she had certified physicians in Aesthetic Medicine in southeast Asia. The local doctors had successfully achieved their LCP with this certification.

In 2006, she achieved another pioneer status in Asia by being a Certified Nutrition Specialist by CBNS, USA

She served as a senior oral Board Examiner for American Academy of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine (ABAARM) in USA, Dubai and A5M in Australia between 2006-2010.

She was also trained in autologous Stem Cell therapy in Germany from 2009 to 2014 when she resided in Sweden.

In 2019, she completed her advanced diploma in clinical aromatherapy and medical cannabis.

She returned to Malaysia under ‘Returning Expert Program’ by Talentcorp in 2014. She then founded and serves as the President of the Association of Integrative Medicine, Malaysia.

She is active on the advocacy scene and has been interviewed on national live TV and recorded podcasts.

She has lectured in nearly 50 international medical conferences and is also a keynote speaker.

The bulk of her voluntary service is being the organising Chairman of various International Medical
Conferences for the past 20 years.

Apart from this, Dr Janethy sits on the International Scientific Advisory Board of Euromedicom, Anti-aging Medicine World Congress and she is also a member of the Editorial Board of Prime Journal, UK, Informa Healthcare.

She believes in empowering her patients, because health is a basic human right and is everyone’s responsibility. Healthcare should not be just delivered but greatly encouraged by well-informed self care.
