Dr. Ken Yeoh

Ken possesses deep expertise in the areas of corporate governance and sustainability, having taken on various senior roles that cut across academia, regulatory/policymaking as well as banking. In his current role as Bursa Malaysia’s Director of Group Sustainability, Ken drives the Exchange’s sustainability strategy including elevating Bursa’s own ESG- related practices and disclosures as well as facilitating adoption of the same amongst Malaysian PLCs.

Previously, Ken led the Corporate Governance & Sustainability section

under Bursa Malaysia’s Regulation division. He was primarily responsible for inculcating good corporate governance and sustainability-related practices as well as disclosures among public listed companies. This included, among others, the development of the relevant disclosure requirements, provision of comprehensive guidance, continuous monitoring & assessment, and involvement

in various multi-stakeholder capital market initiatives.

Ken possesses a PhD in Corporate Governance from Northumbria University (UK) and is a Fellow of the UK’s Higher Education Academy. He also served as a senior academic in reputable institutions of higher learning including Nottingham University and Northumbria University.
