Esther Law Lee Poh often described as a “Woman of Wisdom” by Malaysian Chinese media, is a visionary portfolio entrepreneur and global thought leader with over 25 years of experience spanning entrepreneurship, leadership, digital transformation, and corporate strategy. She is the Founder and Chairlady of YAST Group, an entrepreneurial ecosystem that promotes innovation, investment, and development across global industry chains through the 3Z Model—Zhihui (wisdom), Zijin (capital), and Ziyuan (resources).

Known for her people-centric approach to leadership, Esther is a strong advocate for value-based models such as H.E.A.R.T.S. (Hugs, Encouragement, Appreciation, Reach-out, Touch, Sincerity), L.E.A.D.E.R.S.H.I.P. One of Esther’s notable contributions to global health is her leadership in medical tourism, particularly during her tenure as Vice President at Jinan University Fuda Cancer Hospital, Guangzhou, and later as the Group CEO of Cheng Mei Medical Group in Hainan and Executive President of Hainan Cancer Hospital, China, between 2005-2017, which led to the development of the 5C ‘pre-‘ and ‘post-‘ hospitalization model and B.E.U. service standards—an innovative approach that not only enhances the quality of patient care but importantly, serves as a model for how healthcare can be improved globally. Esther’s work illustrates a profound understanding of how health and economics intersect and underscores the need for empowered leadership in addressing these challenges.

Being an intuitive painter and author of three reflective books – ‘Gateway to Life’s Values’, ‘Cancer and My Mission and ‘Life Senses’, Esther’s creativity also plays a fundamental role in her approach to leadership. Through her role as a columnist for media outlets such as the Sarawak Tribune, she extends her reach, fostering wider conversations about personal development and the nuances of leadership under her weekly columns entitled ‘Life Senses’ and ‘Leadership Horizon’.
