Mohd Sedek Jantan is an experienced investment professional and economist with solid research methodologies and sound knowledge of investment and economics. He is frequently quoted in the local media on economic and investment matters. The Social Science Research Network® now ranks him in the top 10% of researchers worldwide (55,937 out of 879,967 as of June 2022). His scholarly articles have been cited in Tier-1 publications, such as Social Science Quarterly, BioMed Central Journal and CFA Asia-Pacific Research Exchange. Mohd Sedek graduated with a Bachelor of Economics from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and an MSc in Business Strategy, Leadership, and Change from Heriot-Watt University. In addition, he possesses the Islamic Financial Planning certification from the IBFIM, and the Chartered Financial Economics certification from the Institute of Certified Chartered Economists. He is now pursuing a doctorate in economics with a focus on health and ageing economics.
