Mr. Andrew Chan

MR. ANDREW CHAN YIK HONG is the Director of the Malaysia Semiconductor Industry Association (MSIA), leading all its activities, events, and strategic initiatives. MSIA is the voice of Malaysia’s semiconductor industry, representing over 300 members from 20 countries.

Andrew plays a key role in shaping national policies and industry development, representing the semiconductor sector in various high-level committees, including Pemudah, the National Strategic Semiconductor Task Force, and TalentCorp’s MyMahir Future Skills Talent Council for E&E. Andrew also serves as Chairman of the Semiconductor Working Group under Malaysia’s National Standards Committee.

A Fellow Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), Andrew brings extensive expertise in business strategy, technology, and industry transformation. His professional experience spans leadership roles at Gamuda, IBM, and PwC, where he contributed to major corporate and industry initiatives.
