MR. GIL L. GONZALES currently serves as the adviser to the Chair of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council Philippines. He formerly held the position of Executive Director of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council, established in 2003 to support the ASEAN Economic Community. Mr. Gonzales advocates for business interests by providing policy recommendations to ASEAN leaders and officials.
His areas of expertise include corporate governance, risk management, and strategic planning. From 2010 to 2020, he served as Vice President for ASEAN Affairs at SM Investments Corporation and has held leadership roles in both the private and public sectors
