MR. GREG BEATTY, Juris Doctorate, Boston 1991. Managing Director for BEATTYintel, a strategic advisory firm based in Bangkok. Greg has worked in 60 countries in 30 years, starting with Baker McKenzie, a leading global law firm. He is also a Faculty of Law member at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok. Greg has certifications in AI and Cybersecurity from Harvard, LSE, and Tufts University.
Current dealings involve innovative technology solutions (smart city projects, AI tools for legal services, WIFI & IPTV with streaming solutions for hotels in China and Southeast Asia, and drones). Greg has advised on projects of the Thai Bev organization (TCC Asset, One Bangkok), CP Group (True Telecom), PCCW (Hong Kong), NTT DOCOMO organization (interTouch), and joint venture projects across Asia for Verizon and Lucent Technologies.
Greg is an advisor for the Thailand Regional Forum at Sasin School of Management, a business forum of leaders who meet monthly to discuss business and economic matters facing the region. Greg is also Vice-President of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce.
Greg’s business articles are featured in the Bangkok Post and CanCham’s ‘Voyageur’ magazine. His lifestyle articles include interviews with band members of the Grateful Dead, David Bowie, and Iggy Pop. Greg was also a hockey goalie for the Boston Bruins Alumni team.
