MR. LESTER CHAN is a distinguished business leader and innovator with over two decades of experience across management, investment, and technology sectors. He currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of The GrowHub Limited, a pioneering company in the Asia-Pacific region specializing in supply chain traceability, AI-driven data analytics, and carbon management. Under his leadership, The GrowHub has established itself as a leading traceability platform, utilizing proprietary blockchain technology to enhance transparency and efficiency throughout supply chains.

As CEO, Lester is responsible for driving the company’s strategic vision, fostering innovation, and ensuring sustainable growth. He plays a pivotal role in shaping the company’s direction by integrating cutting-edge technologies such as

blockchain and artificial intelligence into its core operations. His leadership extends to cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government entities, senior officials, and political leaders across the Asia-Pacific region. Before joining The GrowHub, Lester served as the CEO of a licensed venture fund management firm in Singapore, where he adeptly managed investments in a diverse portfolio of technological companies. He facilitated several successful exits through initial public offerings (IPOs) on notable exchanges, including NASDAQ and the Singapore Exchange. His expertise in venture capital and investment management has been instrumental in identifying high-potential opportunities and driving value creation across various industries.

Lester’s career also encompasses significant roles as a management consultant and banker, providing him with extensive experience across the entire business value chain. His work spans from startups to publicly listed companies, granting him a profound understanding of the challenges and opportunities present in diverse sectors. Lester’s academic credentials further underscore his commitment to excellence. He graduated with honours from the National University of Singapore (NUS), majoring in Engineering and minoring in Technopreneurship. Subsequently, he received a scholarship to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Singapore Management University (SMU), where he graduated summa cum laude. Additionally, he enhanced his education through postgraduate studies at the University of British Columbia, equipping himself with a global perspective and advanced knowledge in business and technology.

Beyond his professional achievements, Lester is dedicated to giving back to society. He has served as a board director for a local charity in Singapore for the past nine years, contributing his expertise to advance the organization’s mission. In recent years, he has also taken on the role of board treasurer, ensuring the financial sustainability of the charity.
