With a career spanning over two decades, Mr. Stuedlein has developed deep expertise in both traditional finance and the evolving world of digital assets.
Mr. Stuedlein began his professional journey after earning a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Rensselaer. He joined a major global consulting firm in New York, delivering technology solutions to leading financial institutions. He then transitioned to a business development role at a start-up which became one of Google’s first acquisitions.
Following this acquisition and subsequent restructuring, Mr. Stuedlein earned an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business. He then spent over 13 years at Barclays investment bank, working in the Prime Finance desk to deliver innovative financing and trading solutions to prominent hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, and alternative asset managers. His roles at Barclays took him to New York, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and London, honing his ability to navigate the complexities of global finance.
After his impactful tenure at Barclays, Mr. Stuedlein moved to the fintech sector, focusing on delivering innovative solutions in capital markets. This transition allowed him to leverage his extensive banking experience while embracing technologies reshaping the financial industry. His work in fintech is characterized by a forward-thinking approach and dedication to driving growth and efficiency in capital markets.
Currently, Mr. Stuedlein is based in Singapore and serves as the head of the corporate finance advisory desk at Sygnum, a leading global financial services group. Operating under a full banking license in Switzerland and CMS/MPIL licenses in Singapore, Sygnum is at the forefront of delivering digital asset solutions to clients in an institutional, regulatory-compliant manner. In his advisory role, Mr. Stuedlein oversees a team of professionals dedicated to providing strategic financial advice and solutions at the intersection of traditional and digital asset capital markets.
