Mr Ravindran Devagunam

Ravindran Devagunam is a global aviation and infrastructure executive with over 35 years of experience across airlines, airports, MRO, and government transformation. He has held CEO, COO, and senior public-sector leadership roles, with a strong track record in driving turnarounds, developing aviation ecosystems, and structuring complex cross-border investments.

He currently serves as Senior Vice President at Dhaya Maju Infrastructure (Asia), where he supports international expansion across aviation and energy sectors. He is also the founder of Isonomics International Ventures, a boutique advisory firm providing strategic counsel to airlines, airports, investors, and governments across Southeast Asia on partnerships, sector development, and enhancing governance practices.

Previously, he served in Malaysia’s Prime Minister’s Office as Chief Executive Officer of the International Strategic Cooperation Unit and Performance Management Unit. In this role, he led government-to-government initiatives, facilitated foreign direct investment, and executed bilateral aviation and infrastructure agreements across South Asia.

Earlier, as Chief Operating Officer (Aviation & Aerospace) at GMR Hyderabad International Airport, he played a pivotal role in positioning Hyderabad as a regional aviation hub, including the development of India’s first integrated Aerospace Park and a globally certified independent MRO facility. As Chief Executive Officer of MAS–GMR Aerospace Engineering, he founded and scaled a USD 100 million FAA- and EASA-certified aircraft overhaul operation.

He spent over two decades in global consulting with A.T. Kearney, Deloitte, Booz Allen Hamilton, and SRI International, advising airlines, airports, and governments on privatisation, restructuring, and sector liberalisation across multiple regions. He began his career at Malaysia Airlines in technical services and project engineering.

Ravindran holds an MBA in Operations Research from the University of Baltimore and a Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering & Mechanics from the University of Minnesota. He is an Elite Fellow at the University of Malaya and continues to advise boards, sovereign institutions, and global investors.
