Mr. Sasipong Pewkaw

Mr. Sasipong Pewkaw is a seasoned professional in financial and banking technology with extensive expertise in national payment switching, cross-border QR payments, clearing houses, card systems (credit and debit), payment gateways, and embedded financial services. He has held pivotal roles such as Head of Business Strategy at National ITMX (PromptPay and ThaiQR) and Payment Business Consultant for APAC at Accenture. His consulting portfolio includes work with leading national payment switches in Asia, a top-three Japanese FinTech investor, and prominent FinTech consulting firms in Singapore and the UK. Mr. Sasipong has contributed significantly to national-level financial infrastructure through his involvement in key committees established by the Bank of Thailand and The Thai Bankers’ Association, covering areas like eMoney, ISO 20022 smart infrastructure, digital trade platforms, and cross-border remittance systems.

With a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Thammasat University and a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from Mahanakorn University of Technology, Mr. Sasipong blends strong technical acumen with strategic vision. He is also an active voice in the FinTech community, having spoken, moderated, and demonstrated innovations at numerous industry events across Asia.
