A Graduate in Mechanical Engineering & technocrat-turned businessman has leveraged his three-plus decades of experience leading multiple Mega Projects in Indian and global Refineries.
He started his career with Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited, Chennai, India(A branch of an Indian oil corporation) and worked in different roles from 1990 to 2000 and deputed as an Inspection specialist to KNPC ( Kuwait National Petroleum Company) from 2000 to 2003.
Took responsibility for Malaysia Gas pipeline intelligent pigging works between 2012 to 2014 and before getting into the Biodiesel refining market in Malaysia.
He started his own business (Engineering company) in 2003 and under his stewardship, the Asset value of the SVL group of companies has risen to USD 100 Million.
With three decades of experience started taking over sick Biodiesel refineries into operational condition and past 10 years took over 5 Biodiesel refineries and made multi-fold profits to the organizations by selling 3 refineries to a Public Listed company, presently planning to start SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel plant) in Kuantan, Malaysia next to the 250,000 MTPA Biodiesel plant.
The present world no longer survives with promises, Progress alone separates leaders from talkers and Satya is Proven in bringing one sick Biodiesel refinery back into operations and another 4 refineries start-up activities in progress.
Also pursuing a project to relocate the KNPC (Kuwait National Petroleum Company) Shuaiba Refinery (10 MTPA) to India and the total estimated cost is US$ 2.5 Billion
He is passionate about restarting all sick/retired refineries and creating value in many ways as Capex gain, carbon credits/capture, and once all 5 refineries are in operation the additional palm base-related oil demand will go up to 800 thousand tons per year which indirectly get a lot of value for the country related to ESG, etc.
This will really help to improve GHG protocol (Greenhouse gasses) as our 1st step in reducing carbon emissions.
