Mr Syed Sadiq Obaidi Albar

Mr. Syed Sadiq Obaidi Albar is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse career and strong academic foundation. He obtained his Bachelor’s degrees in Business Services from the University of Westminster, London, and in Economics from Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London. He also completed his A-Levels at Cambridge Tutors College and Concorde College and obtained his Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) from Methodist College in Malaysia.

Mr. Albar’s career began in 1995 at Capital Corporation Sdn. Bhd, where he conducted research on the domestic property market. He later joined Mahkota Technologies Sdn Bhd as a Marketing Executive, securing projects with key clients such as Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas and PETRONAS.

In 2002, Mr. Albar became the Marketing Manager at Haddad Advance Technology Company Sdn Bhd, focusing on unified communications and VoIP products. He then served as the Chief Operations Officer and Chief Marketing Officer at Makmal Jaya Sdn Bhd, overseeing the growth of start-ups and working with clients like Westport and MEPS.

Mr. Albar’s leadership continued as the CEO of Metro Millennium Sdn Bhd, where he expanded the company’s presence internationally and secured significant projects, including the New Doha International Airport.

In 2011, he became the Managing Director of Mobile Communications Media Sdn Bhd, specializing in mobile applications and content development. Currently, Mr. Albar holds positions as Director/Managing Director at Usaha Teknikal Sdn Bhd and Co-Founder at Projek57 – Spirit of 57 Sdn Bhd.
