MR. TAN SOO ENG is currently the Senior Solutions Director of Silverlake Axis, having previously held various Management Roles in Singapore and within Silverlake Group since 1993. In this role, he is actively engaged in product strategy & roadmaps, partnerships & collaboration, systems modernization and dynamic transformation initiatives, as well as serve in AI Malaysia (AIM) Committee.
Before this, he had co-founded and led one of Silverlake entities that focuses on smart tech platform-enabled accelerators & solutions for transformation opportunities empowered by synergy of Data x AI, Cognitive Computing, Cloud, Collaborative Ecosystems and Emerging Tech. As part of his focus in Multi Modal AI & Cognitive Computing for Multi Industries, he has led the Team in development of Contextual Recommenders, Cognitive Profiling & Personalization, Intelligent Assistants & Advisors, Hyperpersonalized Lifestyle Concierge, Semantic QA, Smart Logistics, Robotic & Cognitive Automation, Knowledge Graphs, Voice Assistants, Biometric Identification, Smart Insights and AI powered solutions.
He has spoken at numerous IBM, IDC and Regional Industry Events bringing with him more than 40 years experience in the Banking & IT Industry, having been actively involved with Silverlake’s regional footprints and multi-industries Strategic Partnerships with leading corporations.
Soo Eng often engages Global Industry Analysts & Consultants as well as with Senior Executives & CxOs of FSIs and Large Corporations to strategize, collaborate, co-create and deliver Business and Digital Transformation initiatives that create new financial, payments, logistics, travel & lifestyle business value and innovations.
He also served as Silverlake’s first Singapore Country Head & Director for a decade in addition to being a Regional Account & Programme Director as well as a Strategy & Technology Advisor for various Silverlake Group Entities and Key Accounts.
Prior to Silverlake he held several Leadership roles & positions over a decade with a Commercial Bank.
