Ms Firoz Abdul Hamid

Firoz Abdul Hamid is a senior strategic advisor, executive coach and moderator with over 35 years of experience advising ministers, board chairmen, CEOs and senior institutions across Malaysia and internationally. Her work spans governance, strategic communications, crisis and issues management, organisational transformation, stakeholder engagement, board governance and sustainability strategy.

She has interviewed prime ministers, cabinet ministers, senior public officials, regulators and leading business figures, and has undertaken public policy research on governance, democracy and institutional reform in collaboration with national and international partners, including United Nations Development Programme and Saïd Business School. She has also designed and delivered executive training programmes for senior public- and private-sector leaders on crisis response and management, strategic communications, public speaking and leadership positioning.

Firoz previously supported national public-sector transformation initiatives in the Office of the Chief Secretary to the Government of Malaysia and currently advises private-sector leadership on board governance, ESG strategy and critical-issues management.

She regularly moderates high-level national and international policy dialogues involving senior policymakers, regulators and industry leaders.

She presently advises private sector and trains public sector officials.

She holds both a BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering and an MBA from Imperial College London, bringing a multidisciplinary perspective bridging policy, risk management, scenario planning, governance and delivery realities in national development and sustainability transitions.
