MS. MI-CHELLE brings nearly two decades of dedicated experience to the field of education, establishing herself as a seasoned trainer, educator, and leader committed to empowering individuals through transformative learning experiences. As Principal of SEGi College Penang, she leverages her extensive knowledge to mentor educators, foster collaborations with international institutions, and enhance academic and professional development initiatives across all educational levels. Notably, she now oversees the academic quality of SEGi College Penang’s programmes, including Early Childhood Education, demonstrating her continued commitment to

this vital field.

Her career began with valuable hands-on experience in preschool settings, providing her with a deep understanding of the critical importance of early childhood development. This early exposure ignited a passion for creating nurturing and effective learning environments, a passion that has driven her throughout her career. Building upon this foundation, Mi-Chelle has cultivated expertise in curriculum development, pedagogy, and teacher training.

A certified HRDF trainer, she specializes in professional development programmes, focusing on these key areas, as well as communication skills for both educators and professionals. Her expertise is further solidified by her Master of Arts in Linguistics and English Language Studies from Universiti Sains Malaysia, complemented by the Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers (CIDTT), demonstrating her deep understanding of teacher training and effective communication strategies. Her experience as Head of School, and her prior leadership roles in various academic departments, highlight her ability to manage complex educational initiatives and drive positive change.

Furthermore, her dedication to advancing educational standards is evident through her role as Assistant Treasurer of Penang English Language Learning and Teaching Association (PELLTA), where she actively contributes to professional development and collaborative efforts within the educational community.
