biography

Founder of Ray Nautics focused on maritime related services such as yacht surveying, sail and seamanship training. Also founder of Rangga Haus offering an array of IT services with specialisation in branding, funnel building, web design and content creation. Previously a marine surveyor with Harper Wira Surveyors Sdn Bhd, General Manager for Barista Guild Asia – Malaysia’s lead in specialty coffee education and training, Project Manager (Content Developer & Design) for BrandThis Marques Sdn Bhd and was a Consultant (Investigations & Corporate Research) for AXIS Consulting & Protection Sdn Bhd.

Have served under several committees within the Scouts Association of Malaysia since 2007 from an Assistant District Commissioner, Deputy State Commissioner and now serving as the International Commissioner. Also one of the five Vice Chairman in the Council for the King’s Scouts Brotherhood of Malaysia where she specialises in the development of King’s Scouts. The King’s Scout Award is a coveted award for youths in the association. Norma achieved the King’s Scout Award in 2002. Currently manages two open units of sea scouts in Kuala Lumpur and in Malacca.

Graduated BSc. Medical Bioscience from Monash University in 2016 with industrial attachments with National Measurement Institute, Western Australia and Pathlab Malaysia. Currently pursuing the University of London LLB with Brickfields Asia College.

An avid sailor, a swimmer, outdoor recreationist and practitioner of Capoeira, a Brazilian martial art. In her youth she had undergone two years of ninja training (Bujinkan Ninjutsu) with Warrior Arts Bujinkan under the tutelage of Sensei James Lee. Norma continues to share her capoeira skills with youths via the Duke of Edinburgh award programme scheme as well as continuously train under Professor Rafael Barbosa Rosario’s school, Movimento Simples de Capoeira.
