Prof. Major (H) Dato’ Dr. Chin Yew Sin, JP

Prof. Major (H) Dato’ Dr. Chin Yew Sin, JP is the Group Chairman of BIOPLUS LIFE CORPORATION, USA and also the Group Chairman/President of GFAST HOLDINGS SDN BHD as well as the Group Chairman/President of SHARKRIM HOLDINGS SDN BHD.

He is the Former Group Managing Director of METRONIC GLOBAL BERHAD, a Malaysia-Listed Company and the Former Group Deputy Chairman of EKA NOODLES BERHAD, a Malaysia-Listed Company. He is also the Executive Chairman of SFY AUTOWORLD SDN BHD, SFY AUTOMOTIVE SDN BHD, YEW SIN HOLDINGS SDN BHD, YEW SIN COMMODITIES SDN BHD and YEW SIN AUTOMOBILES SDN BHD. In addition, he is the Chairman of Ez Flex Consulting Sdn Bhd. He was an Advisor for American Biographical Institute’s Distinguished Research Board of Advisors, USA. He is an Honorary Major in the Federal Reserve Army of Malaysia appointed by Yang di-Pertuan Agong, an Associate Colonel in the Civil Defence Department (JPAM) of Malaysia, an Honorary Senior Assistant Commissioner of RELA (Malaysia Volunteers Corps Department), Malaysia. Moreover, he was a Member of Crimes Prevention Committee, jointly appointed by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Homes Affairs and Inspector General of Police (IGP), he is an Honorary Exco of Community Policing Malaysia. He is also a Member of Friends of MACC (Sahabat SPRM).

In addition, he was a Member of Consultative and Corruption Prevention Panel, MACC (2011-2016), appointed by the Prime Minister of Malaysia; a Member of Films Appeal Committee, Ministry of Home Affairs (2006-2016), appointed by the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia cum Home Affairs Minister; a Member of Nation Building & Multicultural Committee as well as Laws & Policies Reformation Committee (2013-2016) under the National Unity Consultative Council, Prime Minister’s Department, appointed by the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department; a Committee Member of the Round Table Meeting on resolving the shortage of Chinese Teachers in Chinese Primary Schools (2012-2018), appointed by the Deputy Education Minister (I), this Committee was formed under the directive from the Cabinet; a Member of the Study Committee on increasing the intake of Chinese government servants and a Member of the Special Committee on increasing the intake of Chinese and Indian information officers at the government’s counters (2012-2016) under the Public Service Commission ( SPA).

He is a prominent international academician before venturing into the corporate world. He is a Visiting Professor of The Research Center for the Standardisation of Education, Chinese Academy of Management Science. He is also a Principal Visiting Professor of the Human Talents’ Training Center, Chinese Academy of Management Science. In addition, he is the Deputy Dean cum Visiting Professor of Institute of Business Innovation of China Business Economics Society.

He has written several books on corporate strategies including “Kong Ming As CEO”, “Kong Ming As Corporate Strategist”, “Corporate Mastermind”, “Corporate Strategist”, etc. Besides that, he has written a book on “Lifelong Learning-How I Acquired 72 Qualifications”, a book on “ A Collection Of Literature” and “A Collection Of Poems” respectively.
