Dean, Faculty of Business, UNITAR International University
Rozainun has made significant contributions to accounting education at the national, ASEAN, and international levels. After retiring from UiTM in 2020, she remains active in the industry and business-related education. Currently, she holds the position of Dean of the Faculty of Business at UNITAR International University. She is highly regarded for her role as the President of the ASEAN Accounting Education Workgroup and is currently leading a competition on Sustainability and SDGs, which she aims to extend to universities and secondary schools.
During her tenure as the Dean of the Faculty of Accountancy for three terms (2011-2017), she and her team played a pivotal role in continuing the development of accounting education, leaving a legacy. They provided valuable opportunities for accounting students and the profession across Malaysia and supplied for the accounting workforce at large. Additionally, Rozainun has served for two terms as a Council member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and is a Chartered Accountant herself, between 2013-2017.

They provided valuable opportunities for accounting students across Malaysia and supplied for the accounting workforce to the industry at large. Additionally, Rozainun has served for two terms as a Council member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and is a Chartered Accountant herself, and currently serving as a member of the MICPA Disciplinary Board.
Rozainun obtained her PhD in 2005, from the University of Salford, United Kingdom. in1995, M.Sc (Econs) Accounting and Finance, University of Wales, Aberystwyth, UK; then in 1985 she completed CIMA exams successfully (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) in London, UK and in 1981 she obtained Diploma in Accountancy, ITM, Shah Alam.
Her experience ranges from being a lecturer in all accounting-related subjects, to an external assessor for PhD theses, APELQ, academic promotion exercises to an industry player involved in research and advising
