PROFESSOR DATUK DR. MOHD TAJUDIN MD NINGGAL is a highly esteemed professional, boasting extensive expertise in counselling and psychology, alongside certification as a Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). His academic journey includes a Bachelor’s degree in Education (Hons.) in Guidance & Counselling from Universiti Putra Malaysia, a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, and a Ph.D. in Counselling & Supervision from Western Michigan University, USA. Complementing his qualifications, he holds an Executive Education Certificate from Haas Business School, University of Berkeley, California, USA.

Renowned as the visionary behind Malaysia’s innovative online Smart Psychology System, Professor Tajudin introduced TAJMA in 2003. This pioneering research and system feature two bilingual software applications: TAJMA Personality Profile Plus and TAJMA Career Interest Profile Plus. Additionally, he developed PsyQIQ Plus, a cutting-edge psychometric profiling tool tailored for online learners. This comprehensive system includes the Learner Style Profile, Stress Profile, and Personality Profile, benefiting over 50,000 individuals from diverse backgrounds.

With over 33 years of professional experience in counselling psychology, Professor Tajudin’s expertise spans psychological testing and assessment, corporate coaching, stress management, and cross-cultural counselling. He has played significant roles in various counselling organizations, including membership in the Malaysian Counselling Board and the Counselling Advisory Council Malaysia. Moreover, he co-founded the Malaysian Psychometric Association (MPA) and led the development of the First Web-Based Tracer System for University Graduates Employability in Malaysia in 2008.

Internationally, Professor Tajudin is a Professional Member of esteemed organizations like the American Counselling Association (ACA), the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and the Association of Psychological and Educational Counsellors of Asia-Pacific (APECA). Notably, he served as a cross-cultural counselling consultant for the Michigan Judicial Institute (MJI), USA, for six years.

An accomplished author, Professor Tajudin has penned the Al-Ghazalian Psychospiritual Counselling Approach and seven books on counselling and student development. He has presented over 200 scholarly papers at national and international conferences. Currently, he serves as the Vice President / Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic & Research) at Open University Malaysia, while also holding the esteemed position of Eminent Visiting Professor at Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD).
