Tan Sri Anifah Aman, born on November 16, 1953, in Keningau, Sabah, stands as a distinguished statesman, recognised for his unwavering dedication to public service and leadership. His intellectual journey took him to the esteemed halls of the University of Buckingham, where he attained a degree in Philosophy, Economics, and Law in the year 1979, following his formative education at Sabah College.
Anifah’s political career is characterised by a series of pivotal roles that shows his commitment and beliefs and have significantly impacted Malaysia’s political landscape. He is currently the President of Parti Cinta Sabah but has previously held the role of Head of United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) Kimanis Division before making the bold decision to leave UMNO which had long been part of the ruling Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition.
His tenure as a Member of Parliament for Beaufort (1999-2004) and Kimanis (2004-2018) serves as an indomitable testament to his dedication to public service. Notably, he brought his visionary leadership to the fore during his tenure as Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Primary Industries, Plantation Industries and Commodities.

Additionally, he is the Chairman of Invest Sabah Berhad and the Labuan Corporation, spearheading strategic initiatives for economic development and growth in both Sabah and Labuan.
