The Hon. Dato Hajjah Hanifah Hajar Taib

The Hon. Dato Hajjah Hanifah Hajar Taib is currently the Deputy Minister of Economy, Malaysia.

Prior to that, she was the Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department – Sabah and Sarawak Affairs (2020-2022); Member of the Women’s Advisory & Consultative Council (MPPW), Chairman of the Sarawak Women’s Islamic Welfare Organization (PERKIM), Executive Director of the Miri Marriot Resort & Spa, CEO of the Lim Kok Wing University, and Executive Director of the Cats FM.

She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of San Francisco, San Francisco, California, U.S.A in 1992.
