Zhou Li is now the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of China Daily Group, which is the largest national English-language news media in China. He is now the publisher and editor-in-chief of China Daily Asia Pacific, which manages operations in about 20 countries and regions including East Asia, Southeast Asia, Australia, the Middle East and Hong Kong. Mr. Zhou joined China Daily in 1990, after graduation with Master of Law from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.

From 1990 to 2015, he has been consecutively serving on editorial, business and management posts at the China Daily Group, starting from copy editor, assistant director, executive director to deputy managing director. He was also the publisher and editor-in-chief for Shanghai Star between 2006 and 2008.

He is also the Chief Representative and the Chairman of video committee of Asia News Network(ANN), an alliance of 22 major media in 20 countries in Asia. He initiated China Daily CEO Roundtable and Asia Leadership Roundtable, which are by-invitation networks of government officials, CEOs and senior executives of Fortune 500 companies in Asia and China.
